
The Singaproe Design Festival is back again. From 20 to 30 November 2009, the festival will draw
designers, design thought leaders and design clients of the world for the third time here in Singapore.
This year, the festival is themed "Design 2050", where everyone is gathered in discussion of the possible design for convenience of our everyday life.
The highlights for this year's festival include:
ICSID WORLD DESIGN CONGRESS SINGAPORE 2009
9 Design2050 studios, 4 keynote speakers and Congress facilitators will come together in an engaging interactive forum to propose solutions to many of today’s critical issues and challenges.
INDEX: ‘DESIGN TO IMPROVE LIFE’ EXHIBITION
An inspiring exhibition that presents design in 5 categories - Body, Home, Work, Play and Community, to address concerns relevant to people of all ages from all walks of life.
PORTFOLIO SHOW FOR YOUNG DESIGNERS
A curated showcase of the best collection of portfolios by young Singaporean or Singapore-based designers across all design disciplines; reflecting the progression and ambitions of Singapore design.

The various events in this festival will be held in 40 over places on the island, including VivoCity, ION Orchard, City Hall and Suntec City.
