Do you love action? Do you love to watch cars racing at the speed of light? Do you love the sound of the revving engine?

How about catching all these action all AT NIGHT, without a worry about the scorching sun? Yes, you've heard it right! It's the ONE AND ONLY Formula One Night Race, and it's all happening in Singapore!

The Formula One season consists of a series of races held in various countries such as Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and more, where circuits are built to host this event.

The results of all the races in the different countries are combined to determine an two overall winners, 1 for the drivers and another for the constructors, with racing drivers, constructor teams, track officials as well as the organisers!

Isn't it exciting? Well, if you have missed the race for the past 2 years, not to worry! There will be one coming up from the 24 to 26 September 2010!

With many of the other attractions beautifully lit up at night, such as the Singapore Flyer and the Old Parliament House, you can view the race as well as the various attractions all in one place!

I was there at the race in 2009 as an usher and it was a really amazing experience! To be there at the race itself, where all the action is happening, is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something not to be missed!

Here are some of the pictures I took!

This is part of the circuit track, beautifully lit up.

Another part of the track. Look at the beautiful buildings.

The Old Parliament House

Swissotel the Stamford

The various displays of cars there!

Here are some of the clearer pictures I took of the racing cars! It was hard to take a decent picture, considering they were travelling at 350km/hr! (A cheetah's running speed is only about 97km/hour!)
Mercedes, Vodafone

Ferrari

Another beautifully lit up attraction, the Esplanade

Guess what? Backstreet Boys performed at the race too! Who knows which popular celebrity might come next in 2010?

Here's a video I took of the actual race itself. Look at how fast the cars are travelling!

With so much to expect, what are you waiting for?! Keep 24-26 Sep 2010 free and make a trip down Singapore to experience the race like never before!
